SFEPTA 2010 - 2011 Goals
- Actively promote what the PTA does for the student body
- Reach out to the School District Board
- Communicate with local papers about PTA events and awards
- Increase membership in the organization
- Practice inclusiveness in all PTA activities
- Review current issues facing families in the community and incorporate them in the PTA's agenda
- Maintain an environment of mutal respect, where individuals are comfortable expressing opinions
- Develop other leaders to replace current leaders
- Introduce mentor role to share ideas and information with new and prospective leaders
- Create subcommittes to give members an opportunity to learn before becoming a chairing a committee
