Why be Involved?

You're the kind of parent who would do anything for your child. And so would we.

We support better education, more resources, safer schools for every child, and greater parent involvement.

From homework to recess, from friendships to family, your child's development never stops. And neither do we.

When you join PTA, you join millions of others nation-wide and thousands of others state-wide who care about issues that affect kids.

Membership is open to anyone concerned with the education, health, and welfare of children and youth.

The South Fayette PTA is implementing a new parent volunteer program called "Three For Me."

Three for Me is a Nationally sponsored PTA program that encourages busy parents to commit to volunteer just 3 hours of their time over the course of the school year to help out their PTA. Three for Me allows parents to become more involved in the academic life of their children and helps spread the workload, and ensure more successful PTA events. Please note that membership in the PTA does NOT require you to volunteer, however, we appreciate any time you can give, as well as your financial support just by becoming a member.

Simply click on the link below for a 2009 - 2010 Membership Application.   Send the completed application and a check made out to SFEPTA for the appropriate amount into school with your child in an envelope marked "SFEPTA Membership".

Please consider including other family members (e.g., spouse, aunts, uncles, grandparents, children) in your enrollment because every membership positively impacts the educational experience of our students!

New membership cards will be sent home in October.

Yearly Membership Dues:

$6 for the first member and $4 for each additional member.   A portion of your membership supports the state and national PTA.
