To All of our South Fayette Parents and Guardians:
I'd like to take a few minutes to introduce the Market Day PTA Fundraiser to you and answer any questions you might have regarding how the program works.
Let me begin by saying that Market Day is a yearlong fundraiser that occurs each month of the school year September thru May. Market Day offers a wide variety of foods that your family will love at reasonable prices. Each order form will highlight foods that are on sale or featured each month but there are many foods available that are not included in the photographs. You will find inside each pamphlet a Complete Item List EZ Order Form. You can either enter your order online at MarketDay.com or you can fill out the EZ Order Form (being sure to complete the entire Customer Information area), send it in with your students Agenda and I will enter your order for you. Benefits of ordering online include receiving additional specials and coupons via email and paying with a credit or debit card.
The food is then shipped to the school on the designated Sale Date and volunteers sort and package your order for you. Pick up is from 3 to 4 pm in the Elementary School All Purpose Room (the same area as Parent Pick Up) and a Market Day Representative will be on hand to accept payments. Market Day accepts cash, checks and food stamps. You may not use a credit or debit to pay at the sale (only available for online orders). If your order is large or you are unable to carry it out, the volunteers have carts and will walk you to your car.
Profits from each monthly sale are based on a sliding scale but each month the PTA earns no less than 10% of our total order and up to 20% during larger sales. Last year the SFEPTA earned over $3,200.00. This year we hope to earn $3,500.00. If you haven’t yet had the chance to try Market Day for yourself, I urge you to try it now. Best sellers at South Fayette include the ChicNSteaks, Supersweet Corn and Pizza Eat-zzas.
