Amateur Photography Digital Collage Making Page Layout Design Sales/Distribution Future Committee Leadership
This is a yearlong process of taking and collecting photos of every student.
The children LOVE to find themselves in the yearbook and the committee goes to extraordinary lengths to make sure each student is in the yearbook at least twice.
Guidelines for Photo Submission:
WE ARE GOING COMPLETELY DIGITAL THIS YEAR!
PLEASE DO NOT SEND IN PRINTS!
Only Digital Photos at full resolution (not downsized for email) on CD please.
Please mark the grade level of the children in your file names and/or on the envelope.
Place CD in an envelople marked "YEARBOOK" and turn in to the elementary office
You can email the photos directly to pollochos@comcast.net but please DO NOT downsize for email.
Please no web links to photosharing accounts.
Photo Taking Suggestions:
Camera Resolution (Image Quality) is set on the HIGHEST setting
Groups of 2-5 children - no large groups including whole classes
NO HAND GESTURES - these photos will automatically be discarded
The child is looking at the camera
The activity in which the child is engaged in is included in the photo
The child's clothing/activity exemplifies the themed day, party, or event
The photo is clearly focused - not grainy in appearance, too dark, shadowed, or washed out
